High-quality schools

Cary is part of the Wake County Public School System, one of the largest and most well-regarded school districts in North Carolina. The area also offers access to highly rated private and charter schools, ensuring children can find the right fit. We can easily walk to both a daycare and elementary school from our home.

Parks and activities

Cary has over 30 public parks, 80 miles of greenways, and plenty of playgrounds, offering kids plenty of room to play and explore. We can walk to Apex Community Park, which has a playground, obstacle course, lake, and walking trails.

Downtown Cary, a 10 minute drive from our house, offers a library, slides, giant wooden cardinals to play in, and a dog park.

Cary consistently ranks as one of the safest towns in North Carolina, with low crime rates and a strong sense of community. The town’s well-loved neighborhoods, public services, and family-friendly atmosphere are a great place to raise a child.
